Superior to EF, sure. If we’re talking about taking photos. But the problem here is that unless you have one of the rare Sony cameras with a locking E-mount, you’ll be kicking yourself for not getting a PL prime so at least the PL/E adapter can be secured to the camera body.

I think so too, Sony has had tremendous success with their cameras also because they were among the first with a full frame short-flange mount.
