In reply to Nikil Ragav. No, even H264 has better fine details on the S5 and S1. The issue is the heavy processing (sharpening and detail filtering) on the S5II. Standard profiles almost look like smartphone footage. V-Log is better but not as good as V-Log on the S5 and S1.

In reply to Lom Bardy. ISO400 and 3200 are the two ISO's which are denoted by Blackmagic as the "native" ISO's of the sensor. Hence, we always test the recommended native ISO's.

why did you not use the base iso’s of 100 and 1250? afaik 400 and 3200 are applying digital gain to the signal to lift the gamma and so might this not affect the noise profile?
